11/02/07 Meeting Notes
Kathy Choren distributed faculty/staff grant information and reviewed the timeline for proposals. Periodic reminders will be sent to faculty and staff encouraging submissions.
We brainstormed ideas for the January 25th in-service. Suggestions included: Team/Community building, something fun (e.g., bowling, Comedy Sportz), health and wellness topics, working in the morning and surprise afternoon off, time for classroom or divisional work, technology workshops led by USM staff. (Did I miss anything?) Could we build the workshop around the topics of self, division and community? There seemed to be some consensus that team/community building is needed.
Next Steps: Each member agreed to research some team building ideas for the next meeting.
Meetings: I will not be able to meet on 11/20. It is a board meeting day. The group could meet without me if someone volunteers to lead and take notes. I would like to try to schedule future meetings. Please check you calendar and email me (asap) which of the following dates work for after school meetings. I will try to schedule meetings that work for most members. Please check the following dates: 11/19, 11/20 (without Gregg), 11/26, 11/28, 12/4, 12/6, 12/10, 12/12, 12/13, 12/18, 12/19,12/20, 1/9, 1/16, 1/23
